Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I pray that your Advent and Christmases have been full yet manageable. May these liminal days before the new year bring rest and renewal faithful church leaders and gracious readers!
Seeing friends’ Goodreads yearly summaries inspired me to share a quick post about what I’ve been reading in 2024:
Child Theology: This year I’ve been focused on my DMin thesis. My core texts can be found in my Bookshop.
Review copies: Goodreads is where I post about religious books that I have had the pleasure of sneaking a peek at, including Roger Hutchinson’s most recent book on baptism – beautiful!
Looking ahead to Lent and Easter: Many of my favorites are marked in this Bookshop List
My plans for 2025: I will keep the library of resources on this website up and running and add a handful of new posts and products. My primary areas of focus will be my ministry at Kenilworth Union, my DMin thesis, and a sabbatical in early summer.
Soon I hope to share a devotional companion to one of James Crew’s poetry books that I’ve been using for “Poetry and Prayer” with adults. Stay tuned!
