Family Advent Devotional

Each Advent we like to provide families with readings and prayers for home that compliment our worship service. Last Sunday, in our prek-4th grade class we made mason jar Advent candles that were sent home with families. They could easily be assembled from materials found at home. Grace families, I have a few extra materials if you see me on Sunday. Each week’s word is on the outside lid, with the scripture reading inside the lid. Four jars, four candles, a bit of sand and ribbon and you’ve got an Advent “wreath.”
