How are you doing this week? Are you approaching a new normal? Have you taken time to rest? I am praying that each of you stays healthy and that God’s abundant gifts are made visible to you in this challenging time.
As I can, I will curate the “best of” resources in different categories in the hopes of making ministry easier in a time of social distancing.
Best Online Youth Group Games and activities
What I’ve tried that worked: “sketch and fetch” where the leaders sketch a household object youth have to race to find. Minute to Win It games, like moving small snacks using chopsticks or tongs.
Ideas I would like to try:
Fold ‘N Fly Paper Airplane Contest
Games via Video Conferencing suggestions from Lifelong Learning at VTS
Quick STEM project challenges could be fun. I am thinking the index card ring to talk about transformation during Holy Week and the plastic Easter egg challenge after Easter Sunday.

Cathy, thank you for the kind words. I, too, needed some encouragement today. Ministry is challenging as we all learn new ways of connecting with and serving God. Grace and peace to you.
